Player’s Profile:
Dubbed “Baby Shaq” in the Philippine Basketball League where he played for Granny Goose because of physical resemblance to Miami Heat center Shaquille O’Neal.
Quinahan plays a lot like O’Neal, too. On offense he prefers to post up inside the paint and he is stone wall on defense. He has a decent stroke from the outside and can consistently hit the open jumper from any distance.
A fearless defender in the post he was assigned to guard man-mountain Asi Taulava of the Talk N Text Phone Pals in his very first game in the Philippine Basketball Association.
He more than held his own and even rammed the ball down the giant Fil-Tongan’s throat with a block late in the game.
