When Brandon Cablay was traded to San Miguel for Nic Belasco in 2004-05 season, Alaska was in search for an able backup guard for Mike Cortez and fortunately, Bajar was available that time as he came from an outstanding campaign in the Indonesian Basketball League where he was named the Most Valuable Player.

The 5′10 pesky guard out of San Beda College suited up in 16 games where he averaged 5.3 minutes but he was able to provide order on the team’s play when its chief point guard on the bench resting. His hustle and right decision-making convinced the management to stick with him. And Bajar’s ability to hit the long bombs in consistent basis will give him minutes from time to time.
